PREPARATION CLASSES FOR TEG AND HIBERNIA EXAMINATIONS

Máire Ní Lionnáin has been teaching Irish for over thirty years and has a particular interest in the accuracy of the language. Máire completed an intensive preparatory course in language accuracy with Gaelchultúr in 2020 and is an examiner with the State Examinations Commission. Máire has an unparalleled understanding and insight into the second-level Irish curriculum due to her experience marking examination papers. In addition, Máire is also an oral examiner in Irish and has first-hand insight into the marking of the oral exam in Irish.
Máire offers preparation classes for TEG and Hibernia exams for teachers in Ballylochriach as well as Gort Inseguaire.
In the classes:
- Classes and comprehensive notes of a high standard are provided to those who are undertaking these exams.
- Grammar points are taught including, The Genitive Case and The Copail.
- Interactive conversation circles are held in class to promote students' spoken language.
- Students can take an Oral Trial exam before the exams.
- Comprehensive feedback is given to the student at the end.
